DVAR

Masters of gothic extravaganza are back!
MONOPOLY is glad to present you the third full-length CD album from one of the most mysterious and strange bands around.
Started back in early 90's and playing some kind of bizzare 'cartoonish-like' avantguard music, DVAR released several works ('Dvar', 'Raii') which now are rated among big rarities.
After long years of silence DVAR returned with a gothic darkwave album 'Piirrah' released in Italy in 2002 and presenting material from the period 1999-2000.
A year later the band produced 'Roah'. This time DVAR's style changed once again. It wasn't really 'dark' anymore, but rather melancholic. Oriental and minimalist influences could be easily heard. Music critics claimed it 'lightwave'. DVAR was recording 'Rakhilim' during year 2002, and by now it is the freshiest material of the bizzare formation. With this album DVAR's unique style reaches its artistic and technical purity.

Cyclotimia

Cyclotimia is one of the most known Russian electronic bands.
Since 1999 band has released 3 CD and 2 vinyl albums in Germany, Italy and Russia.
Starting as an 'industrial' project, in time Cyclotimia borrowed elements from different music genres, such as 'old-school electronics', 'experimental', 'new age'.
Inspiring in 'global' and 'free market' themes, the band creates unique crossover soundscapes in the modern 'post-industrial' area, referred to as 'L'Electronique Mondial' by the musicians.
'Trivial Pleasures' is the first part of their similarly titled 'L'Electronique Mondial' trilogy which is going to include two more MCD's of certainly non-trivial music.
Created using mainly old Soviet analogue synths, 'Trivial Pleasures' is a bit 'alien' to the previous works of the band, but at the same time is Cyclotimia's most radical and experimental album.
